1. What is your role in TechnipFMC?

I am responsible for the portfolio, supplying new equipment to fields in production on the Norwegian continental shelf.

2. Your main focus at work right now is?

We are in a ramp-up phase of new orders from the operators with a strong forecast going forward. The main focus is therefore to prepare for these opportunities and deliver flawless execution of these projects to secure customer success.

3. Biggest challenge for the energy industry in the future?

The oil and gas industry is cyclical and the industry is just coming out of a longer downturn. Ramping up capacity is always challenging and especially with regards to people. GCE Ocean Technology is an important arena for TechnipFMC where we meet regional existing and potential new vendors. Moreover, we become exposed to new startups with new and existing technology and services. The cluster is also a great arena to discuss and develop crossover initiatives between subsea technology, ocean wind, deep-sea mining and ocean farming.

5. Your business motto

I cannot say that I have a life motto, but in business I am very focused on collaboration across business streams to identify new opportunities. Collaboration is key for developing new and unique ideas and businesses.

6. Which cluster member should we interview next?

SOCON – Sotra Contracting AS.
