One of the main conclusions from the VindVest project – and a clear signal from our Renewable Energy Resource Group – is the need for better collaboration.
This led to a new project, SAMvind, which builds on findings from the VindVest project and will facilitate spatial planning and market opportunities for offshore wind in Vestland.
SAMvind aims to:
- Strengthen collaboration between stakeholders in Vestland within offshore wind, with the goal of positioning Vestland as a leading offshore wind region.
- Create collaboration arenas related to spatial and port/base development in the county, leveraging comparative advantages and enabling sustainable use of space.
- Increase knowledge about market opportunities in the North Sea for industrial players in Vestland, aiming to equip the county’s supply industry to secure positions and market share both nationally and internationally
