Access international interns through IASTE

Get in touch with IAESTE before 10 December to get access to highly qualified and motivated international interns in 2023.

You can get access to students for a period of 6 weeks up to 12 months. The programme is an excellent opportunity to gain new knowledge and expand your international network.

Timeline and how it works

  • 10 December: Get in touch with IAESTE before December 10th to make sure we are able to help you with the process.
  • 10 January: Application deadline to join the coming year’s (2023) exchange programme and get interns, starting from May.
  • March: The nomination process is ongoing, and the companies will be contacted about relevant candidates for their internship positions.

The company decides the internship period and the local IAESTE committee helps the intern with practical and social programmes.

Tasks and costs

The company is responsible for defining suitable tasks and supervising the intern at work. IAESTE requires that the intern receives a minimum wage of 25.000,- NOK per month, anything beyond this the wage is at the discretion of the employer.

IAESTE takes care of all the paperwork and practical matters of bringing the intern to Norway, while also providing a social programme to give the intern an enjoyable experience. There is an administration fee of NOK 10 000,- per student associated with this process.
