Norway Energy Hub – Transforming NCS

400 people experienced the wind turbines of Hywind Tampen up and close on our unique boat trip from Bergen to Wergeland Base in Sløvåg, before the turbines were towed far offshore. The cruise was supported by Equinor and DNB. Photo: Roy Bjørge.

Join our Ocean Innovation Lab to learn more about Equinor’s industrial plan for Norway’s future energy industry. The plan can lead to 350 billion NOK in investments from the private sector.

At the Ocean Innovation Lab, Simen Moxnes, Senior Advisor New Energy Systems at Equinor will present how their project Norway Energy Hub will place Norway at centre stage in accelerating the energy transition.

Equinor estimates that they will invest around 100 billion NOK under this plan.

Norway Energy Hub is well aligned with the majority of the 10 joint projects that will be discussed during our cluster gathering 25-26. May at Solstrand Hotel near Bergen.
