John Olav Fløisand, manager of OneSubsea Processing's Emerging Energy and Low Carbon Solutions, will be presenting on the company's commitment to addressing climate change at our Cluster gathering; Ocean Innovation Lab on May 25-26.

OneSubsea, an SLB company, has a long history as a leading global provider of subsea technology solutions for the oil and gas industry.
The company’s climate action strategy is underpinned by the commitment to achieve net-zero emissions by 2050—with specific interim targets along the way.

The goals cover all three scopes of emissions and include a detailed road map of emission-reduction actions within each operating division and geography of SLB.

OneSubsea will be presenting OneSubsea’s Road to Net-Zero during the Ocean Innovation Lab 25-26th of May, 2023. Register now.

The road to Net-Zero

To achieve its targets, OneSubsea will implement a series of initiatives, including reducing its own operational emissions, investing in low-carbon technologies, and developing innovative solutions to help its customers reduce their carbon footprint.

To reduce emissions associated with the production and use of its products, OneSubsea is exploring a range of options, including using more sustainable materials, optimizing manufacturing processes, and designing products that require less energy to operate.

OneSubsea is also investing in low-carbon technologies such as carbon capture, utilization, and storage (CCUS), and exploring ways to utilize renewable energy. The company is also developing innovative solutions such as subsea electrification systems and underwater energy storage, which could help its customers reduce their emissions. The realization of emerging energy and low carbon technologies will leverage and repurpose existing building blocks, competence, experience, and facilities.

– We recognize the need to address climate change, and we are committed to doing our part to reduce emissions and achieve net-zero carbon by 2050, says John Olav Fløisand, manager of OneSubsea Processing’s Emerging Energy and Low Carbon Solutions.

He continues; – We believe that by working together with our customers and partners, we can develop innovative solutions that will help us all transition to a low-carbon future.

We invite you to come with us and hear John Olav Fløisand present OneSubsea’s Road to Net-Zero
