Would you like to take part of our MIT-based startup programme this spring. Apply now!

ScaleupNext is a chance to test and grow your startup in a safe but ambitious setting. It helps you move from idea to execution – and prepares you for the next step on your growth journey.

The programme runs from April to May and includes three intensive sessions where two are held in Bergen and one of them involves a full week at MIT in Boston.

Along the way, you’ll get tools, insights, and expert support to strengthen your startup strategy.

Who is it for?

ScaleupNext is open to startups and early companies in the Vestland region that:

  • Have established a limited company (AS)
  • Hold an organisation number
  • Have a good idea
  • Have a committed team

Above all, we look for potential – and the motivation to build something that can grow.

How does it work?

The spring 2026 programme runs over three modules:

  • Module 1: 13–14 April, Bergen
  • Module 2: 26–30 April ( a week at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship in Boston)
  • Module 3: 1 May (Boston) and 12 May (Bergen)

The sessions give you tools, insights, and mentoring to help shape your business model, strengthen your team, and prepare for market.

Learn from experienced mentors

Participants will work closely with mentors from GCE Ocean Technology, VIS, and industry partners.

Costs and support

Thanks to support from Sparebaken Norge through Agenda Vestlandet, the programme itself is fully financed, however the travel expenses for one week at MIT in Boston, must be covered by the company itself (approx. NOK 50.000 per person).
