Hanne Misje Lokøy heads marketing and communication at CCB – a company evolving in step with opportunities in defense, vessel maintenance, and regional development.
In this edition of our Cluster Insight series, we catch up with Hanne Misje Lokøy from CCB to hear about her current priorities, the road ahead for CCB, and what she values most about being part of the cluster.
Hanne recently took part in our scaling programme alongside Kristian Utkilen from Aragon – who passed the baton to her after sharing his own perspectives in our previous column.
1. What is your role in CCB?
I work as Head of Marketing and Communication at CCB.
2. Your primary focus at work right now is?
There’s a lot of exciting activities at CCB at the moment. Right now, I’m focusing on engagement with political stakeholders at both regional and national levels, as well as industry associations, to position CCB for growth opportunities related to the Norwegian Armed Forces.
Another exciting task is getting Ågotnes Maritime Cluster up and running – one of 19 hubs in the transition portfolio of Green Region Vestland. In addition, we’re exploring various growth and development opportunities for the group to ensure long-term job security.
3. Biggest future challenges and opportunities?
We must continuously follow the market and trends, and we’re looking at how to further develop our services and markets – including defense and civilian vessel maintenance. And of course, keep on developing our services towards our oil and gas customers to be a top service provider, also in the years to come.
4. Best part of being member in a cluster?
The best part is the sharing of knowledge about new opportunities and collaboration, the professional input, and not least the inspiring network with a broad range of expertise.
5. Your business/life motto?
YOLO: Look for opportunities, not obstacles – and approach life with a positive mindset.
6. Which cluster member should we interview next?
