A Week at MIT Boston's Entrepreneurship Hub

Eight Norwegian ocean industry companies have spent this week at the epicenter of entrepreneurship, MIT Boston, as part of our growth program; the Ocean Tech Scaling Program.

MIT Boston has an impressive legacy, with 30,000 companies founded by MIT alumni, including industry giants like Intel, HP, and Qualcomm.

Here, at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, the participants have been guided through a renowned 24-step method for disciplined entrepreneurship as part of our Ocean Tech Scaling Program.

Guided by excellence

This year's participants—CGG, DeepOcean, Goodtech, OlvondoTech, ScanReach, Korall Engineering AS, Havkraft AS, and Veltech—have been guided with refining their business strategies. Mentored by industry trailblazers, they've gained invaluable insights aimed at solidifying and adapting their growth project.

Beyond a week filled with lectures delivered by a world-class faculty, participants have engaged in sessions with entrepreneurs, seasoned business mentors, investors, and peers.

These discussions have provided a comprehensive learning experience, fostering a rich exchange of ideas and expertise to take back to Norway.

Deep Appreciation

As a fun gesture, and to express our deep appreciation, we gifted our lecturers and mentors a sample of the world's deepest cognac.

This extraordinary beverage has been subjected to a pressure of 1000 bars in NUI AS's hyperbaric chambers, equivalent to a depth of 10,000 meters.
