How and who do we help?

The Ocean Tech Scaling program is aimed at supporting tech companies with ambitious but realistic growth plans.

With a focus on scaling, the program is a unique opportunity for entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs to receive support, advice, and resources to help them succeed.

The program is run in partnership with BI Norwegian Business School and the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship – and we are deeply appreciative of Sparebanken Vest’s continued support as a sponsor over the years.

A program tailored to test and develop your project

The program is tailored every year to fit the needs of the participating companies and their projects, providing tools and support for both entrepreneurship and intrapreneurship and enabling disciplined and methodical growth for their businesses.

Participating companies, such as Additech, emphasize the importance of how the program has helped them with defining their ambitions clearly, daring to think bigger, having a better toolbox, improving their storytelling skills, building new relationships, and receiving experienced advice from the program's lecturers and mentors.

HOW Energy, another participant, shared that an important lesson was to learn how to keep focus and specify their business plan. Further the importance of breaking down large projects into manageable tasks to handle risk and ensure progression
