THE OCEAN DIGITAL 2020 will reach your monitor 17 september. The programme is brimming with great speakers – all with a passion for the future of the oceans.

THE OCEAN is a global meeting arena facilitating new discoveries, connections and collaborations aiming to strengthen ocean economy through sustainable use of ocean resources.

This year THE OCEAN will be appearing in a new digital version due to Covid-19.

Digital and Physical

This year´s conference will be digital, and each participant will get a digital ticket for entering the conference. In addition, we will have a limited number of guests at the live studio of the conference in Bergen.

The digital version will let you view the show and also allow for digital interaction.

Remi Eriksen

Remi Eriksen is one of the speakers at THE OCEAN.

He is the Group President and CEO of DNV GL Group, since 2015 and his presentation is called: How can Covid-19 challenges turn into opportunities.

With more than 23 years with DNV GL, he has extensive management and technical experience from working in the oil and gas, maritime and renewable energy sectors in Asia, Europe and Americas.

He is a technology optimist and strongly believes business has to make a bigger impact on the journey towards a sustainable future.

Remi Eriksen will be talking about opportunities, as a consequence of Covid-19 - and his perspectives from the energy sector.
