Join our webinar on the presentation of composite materials and the possibilities it can unlock.

Composite materials or fiber-reinforced-polymers are a class of materials that provide exceptional strength-to-weight and specific stiffness, making them a preferable choice in industries where lightweight construction is critical, such as marine, aerospace, automotive and high-performance sports equipment.

The total global market for composite materials increased fivefold between 2012 and 2024, reaching USD 100 billion.

The presentation will cover potential and pitfalls in using composites in a wider range of applications, and the potential of recent standardization work.

A decade-long effort is now close to finalizing a Eurocode for composite materials, equivalent to Eurocode 2 for concrete and Eurocode 3 for steel.

DNV have several standards and guidelines on composite materials and have recently finalized and published a standard called DNV-ST-F119 Thermoplastic composite pipes.

Will composite materials enable the industry to increase efficiency and push boundaries?
