EMINENT Summit: Emerging Seabed Mineral Industry

New solutions, new discoveries and potential development of mineral resources. Join our seminar to learn the main results and knowledge gained from the EMINENT project.
This seminar will highlight key results from the EMINENT project and showcase how collaborative research and innovation have advanced deep-sea knowledge and solutions.
The EMINENT project has provided advancements in environmental mapping and monitoring, deep-sea coring, parallel operations, and solutions for production and mineral processing. The results are built upon three research expeditions allowing important data collection and testing of methodology and technology.
The seminar will provide you with insight into the project results and the way forward in establishing a possible value chain for seabed minerals.

EMINENT
The EMINENT Green Platform project aims to establish the basis for an integrated value chain for deep-sea minerals with a much smaller environmental footprint than current mining operations.
The project has developed and demonstrated new technology and methodology within environmental monitoring, resource exploration, production and mineral processing.
The three-year project (2023-2025) has a total budget of about 150 million NOK and includes 5 research partners and 10 industry partners.
Green platform is a program supported by The Research Council of Norway, SIVA and Innovation Norway.
