Join us for the ONS+ exclusive event about how to utilize the huge potential of renewable power in the North Sea and ensure new innovations, technology and business opportunities.

Offshore wind energy in the North Sea will be a cornerstone in accelerating scale up of renewable energy in Europe the coming years. Denmark is building energy islands and Norway is accelerating offshore wind power production in the North Sea. Both countries are keen to enable private competences in the strong offshore energy supply chain.

The North Sea is the perfect place to lead the way in scaling up the offshore capacity quickly.

The development will consist of multiple connected offshore energy islands, offshore wind production at massive scale as well as electricity and green hydrogen interconnectors. What possibilities could this bring for the offshore industry?

Technology innovation will remain a key ingredient, as well as reducing the cost of finance and savings through greater efficiency across the supply chain. But Europe’s wind energy supply chain is facing challenges. Costs for raw materials and components are increasing.

We will invite a Danish mayor, the Norwegian transmission system operator and industry leaders to the stage to provide their view on how to develop the future energy system of the North Sea.
