Coronavirus update: There is great uncertainty about how the corona virus (Covid-19) will affect Norway in the coming months. This means that plans for our events may change. GCE Ocean Technology's main priority is that all our speakers and participants are safe at our events. We continue to monitor the situation closely, and will at all times relate to the current decisions of the Bergen Municipality and the Institute of Public Health (FHI) at large events. Floating Offshore Wind Turbines (FOWT) 2020
The objective of FOWT is to further the advancement of floating wind and to accelerate its implementation into the global renewable energy mix. This event is meant to promote constructive discussions between all actors and stakeholders of this emerging industry. Hence the affordable registration fee and the "no pay to speak policy" implemented by the organization committee.

OTD is the only annual meeting place for the Norwegian oil and energy industry and since 2006, the exhibition and conference has attracted more than 350 exhibitors and up to 18,000 visitors.

PLOCAN Glider School 2020
PLOCAN is an initiative committed with both its adjoining socioeconomic environment and the international excellence in science and technology. Hence, it promotes this call which is oriented towards university students in the marine-maritime and technological scopes, as well as technicians/ professionals of the sector. The objective is to train them in theoretical and practical abilities and skills concerning underwater vehicles, as gliders.
