Eight companies from Vestland have brought their entrepreneurial spirit and their business cases to ScaleupNow where they will learn the discipline to grow methodically, the MIT way.

So we’re packing our bags and taking them to Boston for a week at the Martin Trust Center for MIT Entrepreneurship, to learn from the best.

From Bergen to Boston

We kicked off in Bergen this week, with three full days at Sparebanken Norge and PwC on entrepreneurship fundamentals and growth strategy to prepare for the trip to MIT.

The Boston week means MIT lecturers by day, one-on-one sessions, and evenings where each company works on its own business using the MIT framework.

Everything we do there is about their case and their market.

Ben Soltoff joined us on Teams from MIT in Boston. Ben will be one of our teachers at MIT in November. He is entrepreneur in residence at the Martin Trust Center and co-author of Disciplined Entrepreneurship for Climate and Energy Ventures, which adapts the MIT framework this programme is built on for climate and energy startups.
