The uncrewed surface vessel Reach Remote has been awarded this year’s technology breakthrough.

The jury praises the technology as a global breakthrough with autonomous shipping and subsea operations.

– This award highlights what truly matters which is the ability to deliver, expertise, and world-class results, says Bjørg Mathisen Døving, VP at Reach Subsea.

Two 24-meter vessels are currently in operation, and two more are in the process of being built.

– With Reach Remote, we're not just making history – we're shaping the future with solutions the world needs – smarter, safer, and more sustainable. Reach Remote is more than technology – it's a new Norwegian export industry. This is only the beginning. Reach Remote is the result of taking on the hardest tasks – and actually delivering, adds Mathisen.

Numerous awards

The awards are stacking up as Reach Subsea wins yet another award for its unmanned vessel Reach Remote.

The vessel was one of two winners during last year’s Underwater Technology Conference, and new awards are frequently added to the list.
