Equinor demonstrating new drone technology
Our resource group for remote and autonomous operations was amongst the invited when Equinor demonstrated new technology at NUI in Bergen.
Equinor is strengthening its capability within autonomy and remote operations, acquiring both an 8-meter-long Mariner X uncrewed surface vessel (USV) and an Eelume S3.
The objective is more cost-efficient operations.
The demonstration was held at NUI in Bergen during their 50th anniversary celebrations recently, where NUI also showcased their expertise in testing, verification, laboratory and hyperbaric services – a truly unforgettable day.
