The Norway Asia Business Summit takes place in Shanghai 31 October – 2 November 2019. The Business Summit is a very important and unique opportunity to promote innovation and leading technology for a sustainable ocean economy.

Contribute to the Programme

Apply for Travel Support

Our members can apply for travel support up to 15.000,- NOK . The following conditions apply:

  • Attendance at our seminar and OceanTech 2019
  • The company must be an SME (SMB) (less than 250 employees)
  • The company must be a registered member of GCE Ocean Technology
  • The company must document 100 per cent in matching cost and in-kind hours. Such documentation to be submitted before rebursement (I.e. the sum of travel expenses 50 per cent and in-kind hours 50 per cent must be at least 15.000,- NOK).

OceanTech

Started in 1998 and organised by the Norwegian Business Association Singapore in co-operation with the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event has evolved into a regional meeting place for business leaders in Norwegian industry with a focus on Asia. The event covers all of Asia and reflects Norway throughout the region.

The summit is governed by a Steering Committee representing the largest Norwegian Business Associations in the region. Since 2010, the Norway-Asia Business Summit has become an annual event.

Number of participants has ranged from 100 to 200 depending on location and accessibility.
